1. Who we are

Orixen (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates this website and sells products to customers across Africa.

2. What we collect

When you place an order we ask for your first and last name, delivery address, phone number, email address, and the product and quantity you want. That is the whole list. We do not ask for card or bank details, because all our orders are cash on delivery. You pay the person who hands you the product. No payment information passes through this website.

When you browse, we automatically collect your IP address and general location, browser and device type, and which pages you viewed.

3. Why we use it

  • To fulfil your order and collect payment on delivery
  • To contact you about that order
  • To answer your questions
  • To improve the website
  • To meet tax and legal record-keeping obligations
  • To send offers, only if you have agreed

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share only what is necessary, with our delivery partners (your name, address and phone number so they can reach you), our hosting and website providers, our professional advisers, and authorities where the law requires it.

5. How long we keep it

Order records: 7 years, for tax and accounting. Contact details: while you are a customer, then 2 years. Marketing list: until you unsubscribe. Messages: 2 years after the matter is resolved.

6. Keeping your data safe

The website uses SSL/TLS encryption, access to customer records is limited to staff who need it, and we keep our software updated. Because we do not take card payments, there are no card details on this website for anyone to steal.

If a breach occurs that puts your rights at risk, we will notify the relevant authority and tell you directly where required.

7. Your rights

You may ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, stop using it, or send it to you in a portable format. You can object to marketing at any time and withdraw consent whenever you like. Email info@shoporixen.com and we will respond within 30 days. There is no charge.

8. Complaints

Please tell us first — most problems are quicker to fix directly. You may also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (ndpc.gov.ng), Ghana’s Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.org.gh), or your national authority.

9. Children

Our website and products are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top always reflects the current version.
